FORPG Sends Shockwaves through Industry

After months of putting together almost 400 orthopaedic surgeons from across Florida to collectively bargain for malpractice insurance coverage, we are very pleased to announce that the program is up and running and open for business! 

We sent “Requests For Proposal” packages on our “Founders Group” of 398 orthopaedists to over a dozen of the active malpractice insurers in Florida.  In late September the Florida Orthopaedic Risk Purchasing Group’s Board, made up of representatives of both the Florida Orthopaedic Society and the Bones Society of Florida, selected FPIC to be the program insurer from a number of strong proposals for our business. 

If you are one of the Founders Group you will be receiving a quote on your coverage shortly.  If you did not get into the Founders Group in time, enrollment has now been reopened and you can contact our insurance facilitators at Danna-Gracey (800) 966-2120 or (888) 496-0059 to obtain a quote.  You will certainly be very pleased with what we have negotiated, even if you are already insured through FPIC.
